Two thumbs up for The Royal Scots Club from The P&J – as noticed by The Drum

26/10/2011

Following our recent coverage, The Drum picked up that The Aberdeen P&J are definitely fans of The Club!

Regular readers of the Press and Journal’s Saturday supplement, Your Life, must have had a double take this weekend when a splash featuring the redoubtable Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh induced a sense of deja vu.

For a week last Saturday , the Aberdeen daily featured the Abercromby Place club in the two-page Eating Out section of thesupplement –complete with five photographs plus lavish illustrations of dishes from its cuisine. The meal earned a 28 out of 30 mark.

This Saturday, the Royal Scots Club again appeared in Your Life – in a two-page Travel Scotland focus, and this time it dominated one page with two large pictures from the previous week repeated and further menu illustrations.
