Mr Adam Wilkinson, Director of Edinburgh World Heritage

Edinburgh World Heritage was created in 1999 through a merger of the Old Town Renewal Trust and the New Town Conservation Committee. They represent the World Heritage Site and monitor its state of conservation as required by UNESCO. Adam was appointed Director in April 2008 and is responsible for providing executive leadership and overall management of EWH, its staff and other organisational and financial resources. He holds an MA in Medieval History and Russian Language, and an MSc in Historic Conservation, and has a broad knowledge of UK conservation policy and architectural history. Come and hear about this important organisation to round off this series of lunches.
