The Royal Scots Club is pleased to offer our members access to wonderful facilities around the world, and the same is provided to members of other clubs. Our reciprocal clubs in Australia were discussed a few weeks ago and today we’re looking at our partners in Canada. Here are just four of the clubs in Canada which can be enjoyed by our members.
The Ranchmen’s Club, Calgary
Described as one of the most distinguished and prominent private city clubs in Western Canada, The Ranchmen’s Club delivers excellence on every level. The club was first founded in 1981 and it was founded by a group of ranchers as well as a banker and barrister. The club provides wonderful levels of service and dining as well as events and activities for members and their guests.
The Albany Club, Toronto
The Albany Club was founded in Toronto in 1882 and was named after Queen Victoria’s son, the Duke of Albany. It is a large private club which is proud of its political ties and has over 850 members in total. The club provides a relaxing environment which incorporates space to dine, to work, to relax and connect with like-minded professionals and friends. An elegant interior and beautiful architecture make it a wonderful environment to enjoy.
Terminal City Club, Vancouver
Terminal City Club is one of the oldest and most respected private clubs in the city of Vancouver. It provides a wide range of quality benefits and services for its members and it provides an environment for both leisure and business time. The club was founded in the late 19th century and provides a place to dine, to relax and if so inclined, do business.
The Windsor Club, Windsor
The Windsor Club is the premier private business and social club in Windsor and the whole of Canada’s Essex Country. They have a modern waterfront location for their members and guests to enjoy and it ensures a beautiful environment for dining al fresco with stunning views across the river. The club is approaching its 115th anniversary in 2018 and it provides an elegant and sophisticated environment for all visitors.
There are sixteen reciprocal clubs in Canada for our members to enjoy if travelling abroad. Remember, most clubs will require a letter of introduction which you can obtain from our Membership Department and it can make your journey much less stressful and hassle-free to know you have the excellence of one of our partners waiting for you when you arrive.
