Our Reciprocal Clubs in Australia

Published By royalscotsclub on 13/05/2016

The Royal Scots Club is a quality private members club and as part of our commitment to our members we also have agreements with reciprocal clubs around the world, including many in Australia. We actually have 17 reciprocal partners in Australia and here we’re taking a close at the facilities and histories of just a few of them.

The Brisbane Club

The Brisbane Club is unsurprisingly located in Brisbane and has been one of Australia’s premier private clubs since 1903. With an emphasis on friendship and tradition, the Brisbane Club offers a unique environment to relax and unwind, with exceptional facilities available. There are six function rooms from the intimate Cellar to the large and opulent Members Dining Room and it is a venue which provides a comfortable and welcoming environment for its members and of course, all reciprocal members.

Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron

The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron is a private members’ sailing club. It is based on the waterfront at Kirribilli, Sydney and the grounds, sailing facilities and full range of services at the club are available for the enjoyment of members and reciprocal members and their invited guests. The waterfront location of RSYS is what makes it so attractive and you can sit out and enjoy the beautiful surrounds whilst looking out over Sydney Harbour. The club has many function rooms and regularly caters to both business and social events.

The Western Australian Club

Based in Perth, The Western Australian Club has a proud history which dates back to 1893 and its history is tightly woven with the history of Western Australia itself. It is the leading business club in the region and it exists to provide an exclusive space for communication, enjoyment and entertainment of club members. There are plenty of facilities for pleasure, leisure and business and the club welcomes reciprocal members as well as local members.

United Services Club Queensland

The United Services Club has been an Australian private members club since 1892 and it has a wide range of different spaces and rooms for members to enjoy. It incorporates everything for a Club Cellar with an extensive range of wines and spirits, to a relaxing Reading Room and Billiards Room complete with full-size table. The Member’s Bar offers space for a relaxing drink and light snacks and the Military Bar provides a warm and welcoming space for drinks too. The Dining Room offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with an a la carte service and an impressive wine list.

This is just an example of our many Australian partner clubs, and they all offer the perfect place to stop off and visit if you happen to visit Australia.
