Historic Tour of Archer’s Hall and Supper
Monday 4th November, 5.00pm
This year we have decided to replace one of our evening lectures with an exciting tour of the historic Archers Hall on Monday 4th November 2019. The Archers’ Hall is the club house of the Royal Company of Archers, the Sovereign’s Bodyguard in Scotland. It is located at 66 Buccleuch Street in the Southside of Edinburgh, and has been used by the Company for over 230 years.
There are two different ticket options available:
£20 – All inclusive (Tour of Archers Hall and 2 course supper with wine at the Club)
£10- Tour only
For both ticket options the tour starts at 5pm and will last approximately 1hr and 30 minutes.
For those who book the all-inclusive package, after the tour you will be asked to make your own way back to The Club where a 2 course supper with wine will be served at 7pm. Dress code for the evening is smart casual. Please note, transport is not provided. Lothian bus numbers 23 or 27 depart from Forest Road which is a 10 minute walk from Archers Hall and will take you straight to the corner of Dundas Street and Abercromby Place. Alternatively it is a short 10 minute taxi or car journey.
