The beautiful location of the Royal Scots Club, in the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town is perfect for celebrating the festive season. Our club is wonderfully traditional and provides all the warm and cosy surrounds that you could want at Christmas time. Our traditional fireplace which roars with festive cheer and our staff are always on hand and ready to provide you with the a warm and friendly environment our with private dining and function suites, we have options for parties of all sizes.
Visiting the Royal Scots Club over Christmas comes with many different dining opportunities. We offer a scrumptious Festival Afternoon Tea and a Christmas Lunch menu with a choice of fish and vegetarian dishes as well as meats. We also have a specially planned Christmas Dinner Menu running throughout December, which, like the lunch menu includes vegetarian and fish options as well as traditional roast turkey sourced from local farmers and a wonderful range of desserts and after dinner coffees and drinks.
Our head chef Bremner MacDonald has personally chosen each menu to ensure our guests have a wealth of choice for the festive period and can enjoy flavours and meals which are perfectly in keeping with the season. Every single menu item has been tried and tested to ensure it offers the spirit of the Royal Scots Club as well as a truly festive flavour.
Our dining rooms make the experience even more memorable, with our main dining room looking out over the picturesque Edinburgh Queen Street Gardens and our luxurious private dining rooms ensuring an extra special experience with only those closest to you.
