Our hugely popular Burns Supper always books up quickly. We will welcome Lieutenant Commander Glen MacDonald to deliver the Immortal Memory. On joining the Royal Navy as a university cadet aged 17, Glen undertook basic officer training at Dartmouth Naval College before completing an MA degree at Aberdeen University. On return to the Navy he cut his teeth as a Seaman Officer in a string of sea going roles and his final appointment he was a Regional Staff Officer in support of the Royal Naval Reserve Units in Scotland & Northern Ireland. He has worked with Combat Stress and now works part time for Poppyscotland. Glen lives with his wife Muriel in Fife and has two daughters. In addition to the Immortal Memory and toasts, we will also have musical entertainment to make it an evening to remember. The dress code for this event is lounge suit or kilts/trews.
