Here at The Royal Scots Club we have wedding reception venues to suit all sizes of celebration, whether a cosy wedding breakfast for a select few, or a lavish reception for 200 guests.
All the rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, and are exceptionally adaptable for a variety of table arrangements and room layouts. A combination of rooms are able to be reserved during the course of the day to offer you complete flexibility.
The Princess Royal Suite
With a elegant colour scheme, this offers more of a contemporary style but with traditional touches, including an atmospheric private cavern bar. The room has a maximum capacity of 160 for dinner and 200 for an evening reception, with stage and large dance floor. Perfect for dancing the night away!
The Hepburn Suite
This is the Royal Scots Club's original function suite, and our most popular wedding reception venue. Built in 1929 with lovely Georgian features, it has its own private bar, catering facilities and guest bathrooms. We can seat a maximum of 110 for dinner, and can accommodate 140 for evening receptions. For the evening reception there is a stunning stage for your entertainemnt, and the room has an beautiful dance floor.
The Douglas Room
This beautifully elegant room is popular for ceremonies of up to 60 guests, and wedding breakfasts for up to 44. It is filled with natural light, boasts a period fireplace, and has lovely views across to Queen Street Gardens.
The Members' Library
Although ordinarily for members only, the Library can be hired for drinks before the wedding breakfast. This exceptional room houses magnificent silver trophy cabinets,exquisitely carved bookcases, and features walnut wood panelling. The perfect venue for your guests to relax while photos are being taken.
